Tudor Hotels Collection was formed to undertake exciting projects in the UK. Renovating historic buildings to create Destinations with Luxury, character & style.
Tudor Hotels flagship project, The Bodmin Jail restoration and conversion was a hugely ambitious project. The original building, having been first built in 1779, was decommissioned in the 1920’s and left to lie in a mostly derelict and ruinous state until purchase in 2016. Between 2017 and 2021 we undertook a £50m investment programme of repairs, rebuilding and redevelopment to create a truly unique Hotel, incorporating 70 luxury guest rooms, 2 stunning restaurants, a Champagne bar, 3 meeting rooms, fitness suite & Indoor swimming pool planned for 2024/2025
