I have worked in the Events industry for over 15 years with experience in corporate event management, medical provision and my current role as Senior Event Manager at the NEC Group. I deliver a wide range of exhibitions, conferences, gala awards dinners and event like the Conservative Party Conference. I absolutely love working in this industry for the people interaction and also how no day is ever the same! My current role I have been in for just over 10 years and work across three venues across the NEC group – ICC, VOX and NEC Suites.
I love my current role as mentioned it’s the interaction with different people and also delivering such contrasting events and really seeing the clients events come to life. I think we bring a wealth of expertise’s across the Group that means the clients can access everything from the venue to support their event delivery. My aspiration for my future in events is to be forward thinking and try to continue to trouble shoot any problems we are given from clients and solve these for them. Also keeping on top of any current event trends and really drive innovation across the NEC Group.
