Jodrell Bank Centre for Engagement is a Visitor Attraction based in Macclesfield, Cheshire. The site has been at centre of space exploration and space tracking in the UK since 1945 and in 2019 was granted UNESCO World Heritage status. The site is home to the 1950’s Jodrell Bank Observatory and the Grade I listed Lovell Telescope, the 3rd largest radio telescope in the world.
The site was redeveloped in 2022 with a brand new £21.5M futuristic visitors centre. This can house up to 500 delegates and is suitable for conferences, evening events and product launches. Inside is a 140 capacity 3D Planetarium, various history and science exhibitions and a 100 capacity restaurant. The site also has a separate 200 capacity conferencing suite, the Star Pavilion which has unique views of the UNESCO telescope and Peak District.
