Michelle Baldwin is the NEC’s Head of Events, having spent 32 years with the business. An expert in the industry, Michelle began her career in live events as an intern, before progressing her way through the ranks to Senior Event Manager at the NEC – and now into her latest role.
Michelle has a passion for nurturing the next generation of live events talent, creating the NEC Group’s Event Week Live programme which welcomes undergraduate students from local universities to its venue for a taster of the live events industry.
After beginning Event Week Live in 2011, many of the students who have taken part over the years have since become fully-fledged live events professionals, working across the industry, with ten individuals currently in roles across the NEC Group.
