Iconic and inspiring Business Venues in Bath
If you’re looking for a venue for a small business breakfast, up to a conference, gala dinner or Christmas party, then Bath’s Historic Venues are the perfect solution. Integral to the City’s UNESCO status, the award-winning Roman Baths & Pump Room, Guildhall and Victoria Art Gallery are all beautifully preserved, unique buildings, steeped in history, but perfectly adapted to the running of successful events.
For small to mid-sized conferences, the Guildhall is versatile, spacious, and conveniently located in the city centre, less than a 10 minute walk from the bus and train stations and 5 minutes to the nearest car park. The Banqueting Room, one of the most beautiful Georgian rooms in the region, has been used for important civic events since 1775. Today this opulent room is ideal for conferences, meetings, or dinners, with capacity for up to 300 delegates.
Next door to the Guildhall, the Victoria Art Gallery is available for a drinks reception for up to 150 people. There are two spaces to choose from, both providing an inspiring backdrop – the grand Upper Gallery and the more intimate Lower Gallery which is a contemporary space housing a changing exhibition programme. The latter is a perfect location for a ‘private view’ style event where your guests can exclusively enjoy the current exhibition.
For an event with the wow factor, consider a drinks reception for up to 300 guests on the 2000-year-old ancient paving alongside the thermal waters at the Roman Baths. By evening, when the tourists are gone and the torches are lit, the venue is truly magical. Much of the complex is still accessible to explore, and private tours can be arranged on request. There are flexible dinner options including bowl food around the Baths, or dinner in the elegant Pump Room above, which also has a stage for live music, and a dance floor.
