We know how important it is to keep event planning fresh, carefully selecting a venue that represents the same values, but also, most importantly, delivers what’s contracted – and then some – on the day.

Our next Independent Venue Roadshow (IVR) takes place in just two weeks’ time, so we look at the importance of attending events like this and why you should consider coming along.

1. Meet new venues that have the WOW-factor

IVR brings together 20 independent venues, from across the UK. Each venue is different to the other but all are dedicated to creating amazing, memorable events. You can update your little black book with one of a kind venues and event spaces which is a valuable asset for any event planner.

2. It’s like speed-dating but with venues

Yes, that’s right – it’s speed meetings. You’ll be introduced to all 20 venues with quick appointments, so you can gather the facts, a general feel for the venue and team and then move on. You’ll be armed with your own directory, so you come away with all the information you may need on the venue.

3. It’s a great opportunity to network with other event professionals – old and new!

It wouldn’t be a CHS event without giving you the opportunity to relax and chat with other like-minded professionals who are attending the venues. Networking runs through the veins of hospitality, so we will make sure there’s plenty of time to do just that. Plus it’s a great way to get new ideas for your next event and hear what’s happening in the industry.

4. You get to sample exactly what the host hotel has to offer!

ALL FOR FREE! That’s drinks, dinner, a bed for the night, with breakfast the next morning. Plus, the facilities the hotel has to offer… fancy a swim anyone? Or a lovely walk around the grounds before breakfast?

5. Proof that this blog isn’t just hot air…

Here’s what one of our last Buyers said about a previous IVR:

The CHS IVRs are a perfect opportunity to get to meet and build relations with venues from all over the UK in a relaxed, effective and most of all – fun, environment! From the formal ‘speed dating’ style through to dinner and informal drinks the IVRs never fail to bring great venues and agents together in an event I always look forward to and gain great value from. – Robyn Huxley, The Events Company

6. Here’s what you’ll get if you attend the IVR at Carden Park:

If you’re a corporate event professional, or PA/EA interested in joining us at our next IVR in Buckinghamshire on 11th July 2022 to meet and research 20 independent hotels and venues, including Horwood House, please apply to register for FREE here.
