Lous book choice

The High 5 Habit – Mel Robbins.

What the book cover says:

In her global phenomenon The 5 Second Rule, Mel Robbins taught millions of people around the world the five-second secret to motivation. Now she’s back with another simple, proven tool you can use to take control of your life: The High 5 Habit.

What Lou had to say:

Mel Robbins is one of the most booked global personal development speakers in the world. She’s not for everyone but I love her scientific and easy to understand approach to getting stuff done and why we put things off.

Her first book The Five-Second Rule gave me the tools to trick my brain into getting things done now. This new book The High 5 Habit, is essentially a book about giving yourself a high five each morning. Simple but effective and so much more than that. After the last 2 years, we all need a bit of help changing our attitude, mindset and behaviour patterns.

Michelles book choice

Will by Will Smith, Mark Manson et al.

What the book cover had to say:

One of the most dynamic and globally recognised entertainment forces of our time opens up fully about his life, in a brave and inspiring book that traces his learning curve to a place where outer success, inner happiness and human connection are aligned. Along the way, Will tells the story in full of one of the most amazing rides through the worlds of music and film that anyone has ever had.

Will Smith’s transformation from a fearful child in a tense West Philadelphia home to one of the biggest pop stars of his era and then one of the biggest movie stars in Hollywood history, with a string of box office successes that will likely never be broken, is an epic tale of inner transformation and outer triumph, and Will tells it astonishingly well. But it’s only half the story.

What Michelle had to say:

It’s actually really really good! I couldn’t put the book down – it takes you on the journey through his childhood, acting career and his personal life with his wife and children. I would definitely recommend it.
