Birmingham has undergone a huge transformation over the last few years and has undoubtedly earnt its stripes as our second city. With many well know companies now creating their head offices in the city, Birmingham has become a destination in which to work, live and invest and its growth shows no signs of stopping anytime soon! The eagerly-anticipated Commonwealth Games will without question put the city even more on the map as competitors and sports fans around the world flock to see what Birmingham has to offer.

With Birmingham’s development set to continue, we are confident that the 2nd edition of CHS Birmingham, taking place on Tuesday 1st November at the ICC will be a great success.  Collaborations with the city’s key stakeholders has led us to the fitting theme of personal and professional growth running throughout the event. Building on the success of CHS Leeds, the event will also present event buyers with the opportunity to meet world-class exhibitors, make new connections and learn from the very best in the business.

It goes without saying that our industry has had a turbulent time over the last couple of years as face-to-face events have been cancelled; many event professionals having been forced to put their careers on hold by adapting the way in which they work and waiting patiently for the rather lengthy storm to pass. As we come out the other side, it’s amazing to see the return of live events and our customers finally being able to do what they love! It’s also an opportunity for us all to look ahead and at new ways to motivate, inspire and grow our people personally and professionally as we move forward into 2023 and beyond.
