With the last summer bank holiday ahead and the holidays drawing to a close, our team at CHS Events have been busy behind the scenes, gearing up to an exciting season ahead of live events. September 26th sees the launch of our IVR 3 Series Programme (Inspirational Venue Roadshows) and we are delighted that the stunning Rudding Park in Harrogate will be hosting our first event of this 3 Series. There’s nothing we like more than connecting hotels and venues with UK event professionals and we’re thrilled that this fabulous property will be kicking off the programme in 5 star style!
Set amongst 300 acres of landscaped gardens and picturesque woodland, Rudding Park is a privately owned luxury 5 star hotel that offers 90 bedrooms and suites, a destination spa, two restaurants, a kitchen garden, private cinema and two golf courses – they’ve won a plethora of awards over the last few years and it’s not difficult to see why. Visitors to our September IVR will have an amazing opportunity to experience the very best that this fabulous venue has to offer and we’re delighted to share a little sneak peak below as to what they can expect!
- First stop, golf – Trackman Challenge!
Guests will head over to experience the TrackMan Driving Range where they will be invited to take part in the ‘IVR TrackMan Challenge’, guaranteed fun for everyone, including those who have never picked up a club! The TrackMan Range system is used by 96 of the World’s top 100 golfers to improve their game. Bays feature touch screens supplying ball tracking data and virtual golf enabling you to play some of the finest golf courses and for those new to golf, you can simply have a bit of fun playing ‘Bullseye’, ‘Capture the Flag’ & ‘Hit It’!
- Second stop – SuperSING Taster Session in Rudding Park Chapel!
If singing in the shower is about your limit and you can’t read music, don’t panic! Jules Mock-Morton, founder of SuperSINGers, will lead a creative and confidence boosting taster session in the beautiful Rudding Park Chapel. We know that singing provides so many health benefits; not only can it help to improve posture and mental alertness but it’s also proven to lower stress levels and can help with sleep. Combine this with a perfect venue and this promises to be a truly uplifting session!
- Third stop – Stars and Spa in the Roof Top Spa!
To round off the day, guests will be able to venture to the spa and relax under the stars in the warming waters. Not only will they have the opportunity to explore the extensive range of hydrotherapy and thermal experiences available but they will also be able to take a swim in the indoor pool or choose to unwind in the Escape Zone.
For a truly out of this world experience, astronomer Richard Darn will be also be on hand to help newcomers discover the sky at night. From stargazing to helping find their way around the cosmos and spot the more easily recognisable features of the night sky – this promises to be a truly magical way to end the day.
